Presenting Well On Video – A Corporate Case Study

Presenting well on video is a must have for businesses

A dramatic evolution in the way businesses communicate is emerging thanks to social media networks and services. Video screening facilities via the Internet, such as YouTube and Vimeo are are allowing businesses to run their own media channels. With more and more companies embracing video, its becoming equally important for presenters to appear authentic and confident in front of the video camera.  This is why many of these businesses are now turning to performance coaching services to enhance their performance. Presenting well on video is essential for those who appear frequently on camera.

Mariana Lucia Marquez and Emma Zangs, founders of MetaSpeech, are choreographers and movement directors (Marquez&Zangs) . They specialise in helping performers overcome fear and use their bodies to articulate confidence. One of their goals is to their clients become relaxed and confident speakers in front of a camera.

Ebury – A Case Study

Mariana Lucia Marquez and Emma Zangs worked with both Fernandos on achieving confident body language and being comfortable in front of the camera. They worked closely with Fernando showing him the art of presenting well on video.

Over a series of sessions they resolved issues around posture, facial expression, voice projection, and diction. Mariana’s Spanish background was an enormous advantage as she was able to refine the text for maximum clarity.

Before Performance Training

Filmed on a previous week, this is performance before any coach training.

After Performance Training

This is Fernando’s performance after receiving performance training.

Before Performance Training

Filmed many months in a new office. The presenter is delivering with a lot more confidence and is not using any cards to read off of.

As Mariana Lucia Marquez and Emma Zangs polished the body language they also eliminated a variety of doubts. Once they knew what to do with their hands, how to hold their chest, and how to ground themselves, they began to see a much more assertive attitude.

The improvement was quite notorious. We trust that as they practice the techniques we shared, they will improve even further.
